The Township of Stone Mills is now accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Facilities Operator – Stone Mills Recreation Centre for the period of (up to) September 2026 - March 2027 to assist with seasonal operations.

Reporting to the Arena Supervisor, this position is responsible for the various duties that pertain to the maintenance, ice resurfacing, sanitization/disinfection and customer service of the Stone Mills Recreation Centre.

This position will be required to work various scheduled hours including evenings, weekends, and possible holidays.

Skills and Qualifications

• Background in recreation and/or leisure services
• Experienced in ice maintenance and ice resurfacing operations
• Strong customer service skills, demonstrated work ethic, and previous janitorial experience considered an asset
• Flexibility of availability due to the variation of hours and duties required
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems while minimizing conflict
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Valid Class G Driver’s License
• Must be at least 18 years of age
