The Township of Carlow/Mayo is currently accepting resumes for a (1) one Rink Attendant/ Winter Maintenance Labourer for the 2026-2027 winter season. Reporting to the Public Works Manager, this position is responsible for preparing and maintaining the Foster Lake Rink for the winter season and clearing snow from walkways at designated municipal properties.

This position is a seasonal position (winter season) with hours varying depending on weather conditions. The successful candidate may be required to work weekends.

Desired Skills and Responsibilities

Strong sense of safety awareness
Ability to work independently
Ability to perform manual labour - snow shoveling, snow blowing, etc.
Ability to follow direction

Qualifications and Requirements

Valid G Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Clean Criminal Record Check
Experience with outdoor rinks is considered an asset
