Nurses licensed who are practicing outside the province of Ontario are invited to apply. They will be given a period of six (6) months following hire to obtain their license to practice in Ontario.

The Prescott and Russell Residence, a long-term care facility of 146 beds located in Hawkesbury, requires candidates with abilities, training and experience to fill unionized part-time positions.

Description

Part-time positions (unionized). Shift work includes day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Experience in long-term care or gerontology is an asset.

Work Environment

• Must have a Registered Practical Nurses’ license from the Ontario College of Nurses or be able to demonstrate application for a certificate of qualification by the date of hire
• Must have successfully completed the drug administration course
• CPR certification required
• Criminal record check required upon hiring (dated no longer than three months prior)

• Languages: French - Beginner; English - Beginner (written and spoken)
