The Position

The Recreation, Parks, and Facilities Attendant/Operator (Seasonal), under the direction of the Manager of Recreation, Parks and Facilities, will perform custodial and general maintenance duties within the Township’s arena, curling club, facilities and parks. Duties also include maintaining the ice surfaces using the ice resurfacer and other equipment as required.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 education and two years of related work experience (would be an asset)
  • Knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical and electrical equipment, safety and maintenance procedures and custodial activities
  • ORFA Basic Refrigeration Certificate (would be an asset)
  • WHMIS Certification and Standard First Aid/CPR with AED Training Certification
  • Valid Ontario Drivers License Class “G”
  • Smart Serve Training Certification (would be an asset)
  • Customer Service Training and/or Experience
