Public Works Labourer

Position Details

• Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time (Union)
• Hourly Wage: $28.30 (as per the Collective Agreement)
• Reports To: Public Works Foreman / General Manager of Public Works
• Probation Period: 1000 hours
• Vacancy Status: Vacant

Reporting to the General Manager of Public Works or the Public Works Foreman, the Labourer will assist with routine maintenance and a variety of construction projects in support of the Public Works Department.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum grade 12 education or equivalent experience.
• Must have and maintain a current “DZ” driver’s license.
• Knowledge and experience in trades (Surveying, Grade Person, etc.) will be considered an asset.
