Program Leaders

Position Details

• Location: Peterborough
• Work Location: On-Site
• Department: Parks & Recreation

Program Leaders are responsible for organizing and leading recreational programs at the Peterborough Sport & Wellness Centre, Kinsmen Civic Centre, Healthy Planet Arena, Memorial Centre Arena, Riverview Park & Zoo and/or Miskin Law Community Complex.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching and leading programs, facilitation and lesson planning.
• Experience working with children and/or youth considered an asset.
• Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and strong customer service skills required.
• Must have Standard First Aid/CPR-C/AED.
• Successful candidates must provide a current criminal reference check with vulnerable sector check at their own expense.
• Additional uniform components provided to successful candidates.
• This position will work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
