The Municipality of East Ferris is accepting applications for the seasonal position of Outdoor Rink Attendant for the 2026/2027 winter season.

Reporting directly to the Parks and Recreation Foreman, the Outdoor Rink Attendant will support the Recreation and Facilities staff in the maintenance and upkeep of the outdoor rink in Corbeil (390 Highway 94) as well as working occasional support shifts at the East Ferris Community Centre and Arena in Astorville (1267 Village Road).

Responsibilities

• Outdoor rink maintenance including ice maintenance, shoveling, and skate room maintenance.
• Provide supervision and assistance to patrons using municipal facilities.
• Maintain basic maintenance records.
• Assist with facility cleaning and various set up and clean up tasks associated with events at the East Ferris Community Centre and Arena.
• Additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and move and lift heavy objects as required.
• Ability to work varied hours.
• Experience in customer service.
• Custodial experience.
• General maintenance knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of arenas and ice sheets considered an asset.
• First aid/CPR training considered an asset.
