Join the County of Elgin as a Temporary Casual Housekeeping/Laundry Aide at Bobier Villa. Bobier Villa is a 57-bed long-term care facility nestled in the community of Dutton in the Municipality of Dutton/Dunwich, just 20 minutes west of London, Ontario. Bobier Villa offers 24-hour nursing care, private and basic accommodation, sitting areas, expansive gardens, a large water feature, and gazebos. Whitelock Place serves as a gathering area for residents, family members and guests and hosts a wide variety of recreational and spiritual programs in a beautiful home-like setting.

About The Role

Our Housekeeping/Laundry Aides perform cleaning operations designed to keep the Home in a clean, neat and tidy condition at all times and in accordance with established preventative maintenance and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, dusting, mopping, cleaning walls, floors, windows and doors, maintaining carpets, and cleaning resident living corridors and washrooms. Duties are performed in a manner and with the protective devices, measures and procedures required by the County of Elgin and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• Experience in institutional housekeeping preferred

Conditions Of Employment
