- Benefits: All benefits, paid and statutory holidays and vacation entitlements provided as per CUPE 2290 Collective Agreement
- Starting Hourly Rate: vacation and 12.5% in lieu of all benefits and paid holidays

Position Summary
Housekeeping Aide:
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary environment for Residents throughout Fairmount Home and assigned County of Frontenac administrative offices. Cleaning and disinfecting Resident rooms and shared environments according to legislative standards and policies.
Laundry Aide:
Responsible for providing laundry services to residents, laundering the Home’s linens and assigned laundry of the Frontenac Paramedic Services. Cleaning and storing linens according to legislative standards and policies.
Both roles carry out duties aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values, supporting its priorities.
Education and Experience
Housekeeping Aide:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Experience in housekeeping in an industrial or similar setting is an asset
Laundry Aide:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Experience in laundry services in an industrial or similar setting is an asset

Working Conditions
- Periods of standing and walking
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Bending, lifting, reaching, carrying, gripping, pushing/pulling required
- Possible exposure to noise, dirt/dust, chemical products used in cleaning
- Work shifts include day, evening and/or night
- Possible exposure to infectious diseases, bodily fluids or other undesirable conditions
