- Starting Hourly Rate: $23.87 + 4% vacation + 12.5% in lieu of all benefits and paid holidays

Position Summary
Housekeeping Aide:
The Support Services Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary environment for Residents, throughout Fairmount Home and assigned County of Frontenac administrative offices. The Housekeeping Aide cleans and disinfects Residents rooms and their shared environment according to all legislative standards and policies and procedures of Fairmount Home. The Housekeeping Aide will carry out the duties in alignment to the organization's mission, vision and values, and work to further its priorities.
Laundry Aide:
The Support Services Laundry Aide is responsible for providing laundry services to the residents, laundering the Homes linens and assigned laundry of the Frontenac Paramedic Services. The Laundry Aide cleans and stores Residents and Fairmount Home linens according to all legislative standards and policies and procedures of Fairmount Home. The Laundry Aide will carry out the duties in alignment to the organization`s mission, vision, and values, and work to further its priorities.
Education and Experience
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Experience in housekeeping in an industrial or similar setting (asset for Housekeeping Aide)
- Experience in laundry services in an industrial or similar setting (asset for Laundry Aide)

- Ability to meet physical demands of the position
Working Conditions
- Periods of standing and walking
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Bending, lifting, reaching, carrying, gripping, pushing/pulling required
- Possible exposure to noise, dirt/dust, chemical cleaning products
- Work day, evening and/or night shifts
- Possible exposure to infectious diseases, bodily fluids, or other undesirable environmental conditions
