Job Summary

The Township of Stone Mills has openings for Facilities Attendants at the Stone Mills Recreation Centre for the period of (up to) September 2026 - March 2027 to assist with seasonal operations.

Reporting to the Arena Supervisor, this position is responsible for the various duties that pertain to the maintenance, sanitization/disinfection, and customer service of the Stone Mills Community Centre.

This position will be required to work various scheduled hours including evenings, weekends, and possible holidays.

Qualifications

• Background in recreation and/or leisure services
• Strong customer service skills, demonstrated work ethic and previous janitorial experience are considered an asset
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and the ability to problem solve while minimizing conflict
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Must be at least 15 years of age (in accordance with the Employment Standards Act)
• Flexibility of availability due to the variation of hours and duties required

Additional Information

The part-time (student) position wage is $16.90 (student wage) and the number of hours per week will vary based on the requirements of the facility.
