The Town of East Gwillimbury is currently searching for enthusiastic and dedicated Events Staff. Reporting to the Recreation and HALP Programs & Events Coordinator, the Events Staff are responsible for assisting with the preparation and overseeing various casual events within the Parks, Recreation and Culture department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup and takedown of event materials and equipment
  • Managing and overseeing events
  • Communicating with participants, vendors and general public
  • Other duties as assigned

The individual will work at various municipal facilities including the Health and Active Living Plaza, Sports Complex and the Civic Centre. The preferred candidate will have previous experience planning and overseeing events and must have excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be required to work shifts including evenings and weekends.
