The Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal is seeking Election Assistants and Election Greeters to support the 2026 School Board Trustee Election on Monday, October 26, 2026.

Election Greeters will welcome voters and direct them as needed at the voting location. Compensation for this position is a $220 honorarium.

Election Assistants will verify voter identification, update the voters’ list and assist the Deputy Returning Officer with election-day duties. Compensation for this position is a $350 honorarium.

Applicants must have customer service and computer skills. Previous election experience is considered an asset.

Applicants must be available to work on Monday, October 26, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., attend a mandatory training session and have their own transportation to and from training and their assigned voting location.
