Reporting to the Community Recreation Supervisor, the part-time Community Rental Coordinator aids in the facilitation and administration of rentals in the Community Centre. Administration duties include but are not limited to the following: customer service, cash handling, program planning, rental facilitation including set-up and take down of tables, chairs and other rental equipment and cleaning/maintenance of the facility.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of grade 12 or the equivalent
- Experience in a recreation environment, customer service environment or equivalent is considered an asset
- Team player who is able to function in a multi task environment and have the ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Superior organizational skills are essential with excellent written, verbal and computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point
- Excellent customer service, self- motivation and the ability to work with minimum supervision
- Applicants must have a valid G2 Ontario Driver's License in good standing during the course of employment as well as the use of a properly insured personal vehicle
- A valid Standard First Aid Certificate with a level "C" CPR is mandatory and must be submitted prior to commencing employment
- A current Police Clearance Certificate (dated within the past 3 months) must be submitted for approval by the Corporation prior to commencing employment
- Applicants must be able to lift minimum 50 pounds (22.68 kilograms) for some community centre locations
