What You Will Do
- Reporting to the Director, Communications & Community Development, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to enhance the well-being of the individuals and communities we serve.
- Create and manage engaging website and social media content for corporate and Naturally L&A channels.
- Design and produce communications and marketing materials across print, digital, and multimedia platforms.
- Prepare clear and timely communications, including media releases, newsletters, briefing notes, backgrounders, and internal communications.
- Coordinate media inquiries, announcements, press conferences, and other media-related activities.
- Support the development of communications plans, policies, protocols, and crisis communications.
- Monitor social media engagement and use data and metrics to evaluate performance and identify opportunities.
- Research communications trends, tools, and best practices to support organizational needs.
- Coordinate and participate in trade shows, tourism events, and promotional activities.
- Support Economic Development initiatives, including the Naturally L&A Activation Program, business marketing, industry database management, and RTO initiatives.
What You Will Bring

- Post-Secondary Education. College education in marketing, communications, or a related program is preferred.
- Exceptional writing ability with good attention to detail.
- Solid digital literacy and social media experience.
- The ability to triage and prioritize in an occasionally fast paced environment.
- Graphic design skills and experience are considered a highly valuable asset.
