The Prescott and Russell Residence, a long-term care facility of 146 beds located in Hawkesbury, requires candidates with abilities, training and experience to fill a part-time position.

Bilingualism is mandatory.

Requirements:

• Must have a diploma or degree from a community college or university in leisure sciences, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology or a related field.
• Must have and maintain during employment the food sanitation training program provided by the Eastern Ontario Health Unit.
• Must have completed Smart Serve training.
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation certificate.

Assets:

• Experience in a health care setting and/or in a long-term care facility.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint software.
• A criminal background check dated within the last three months is required at hire and is a condition of employment.
